The Garden District Apartments are a 37-unit Low Income Housing Development on 1.60 acres on Catlin Street in Missoula, Montana. The $6.6 million project is funded through the Montana Board of Housing Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, the City of Missoula’s HOME and CDBG, the Missoula Redevelopment Agency programs, and MHA’s development fund. The project is served by City of Missoula public sewer and Mountain Water Company public water. Territorial-Landworks, Inc. collaborated with the Architect to provide grading and drainage and infrastructure design. Storm water from this development was mitigated through the use of curb and gutter, sumps and drainage swales. Two crossings of a Missoula Irrigation District ditch were necessary which required the design and oversight of reverse siphons. TLI provided the design and TLI provided construction staking, oversight and certifications for the infrastructure improvements.
